ECB lowered its key deposit rate to 3.75%, in its first interest rate cut since 2019

La Banca Centrale Europea ha abbassato il tasso di riferimento sui depositi al 3,75%, il primo taglio dei tassi di interesse dal 2019.

The European Central Bank lowered its key deposit rate to 3.75%, in its first interest rate cut since 2019.

 

 

IT - La Bce taglia il tasso di riferimento di un quarto di punto, ma rivede al rialzo l'inflazione.

La Banca Centrale Europea ha abbassato il tasso di riferimento sui depositi al 3,75%, il primo taglio dei tassi di interesse dal 2019.

Come ampiamente previsto, giovedi 6 giugno la Bce ha tagliato i tassi dell’euro dello 0,25%, portando il tasso sui depositi dal 4 al 3,75%, quello di riferimento dal 4,50 al 4,25 per cento e quello sui prestiti marginali dal 4,75% al 4,50 per cento. Nel Consiglio l'unico a votare contro è stato il governatore austriaco Holzmann.

A seguito del taglio, la Bce ha rivisto al rialzo le previsioni sul tasso d'inflazione. La presidente Lagarde ha annunciato che il percorso futuro sarà “accidentato” e ulteriori decisioni verranno prese “meeting dopo meeting“; nelle previsioni e che la Bce manterrà una politica monetaria comunque coerente con il raggiungimento dell’obiettivo di inflazione del 2%.
