Una prima intesa all'Ecofin sulla strategia energetica UE

Prevista l'aggiunta di un capitolo RePowerEu ai Piani nazionali di ripresa e resilienza dei singoli Stati membri finanziati nell’ambito di Next Generation Eu

L'Ecofin ha trovato un accordo sulla strategia di indipendenza dal gas russo. I Paesi avranno tempo fino alla prossima estate per chiedere prestiti o fondi aggiuntivi

Si tratta di un accordo su RePowerEU, il piano messo a punto prima dell’estate dalla Commissione Europea per rendersi più indipendente dal gas russo.

E' prevista l’aggiunta di un nuovo capitolo RePowerEu ai Piani nazionali di ripresa e resilienza dei singoli Stati membri finanziati nell’ambito del Next Generation Eu. «L’obiettivo è rafforzare l’autonomia strategica dell’Unione diversificando le forniture energetiche e aumentando l’indipendenza e la sicurezza dell’approvvigionamento energetico dell’Unione», rende noto il Consiglio Ue. In termini pratici, l’aggiunta di un nuovo capitolo energetico ai Pnrr permetterà «di finanziare investimenti e riforme chiave che contribuiranno a raggiungere gli obiettivi di RePower Eu».
