Bce: tassi al 4,25%. E' il nono rialzo consecutivo.

L'inflazione nell'eurozona, secondo la presidente Lagarde, è in calo e la Bce ha agito in coerenza del mandato di statuto.

La Banca centrale europea ha portato il tasso sui rifinanziamenti principali al 4,25%, quello sui depositi al 3,75%, e quello sui prestiti marginali al 4,50%. La Bce ha così deciso - all'unanimità - di proseguire giovedi 27 luglio con l'aumento dei tassi d'interesse per la nona volta negli ultimi dodici mesi. L'inflazione, secondo la presidente Lagarde, è in calo. Ciò nonostante è da escludersi un eventuale taglio a breve dei tassi. Possibile invece una pausa in settembre. La Bce ha quindi sostanzialmente aperto a una possibile pausa nel rialzo dei tassi.

Nella giornata di mercoledi anche la Federal Reserve statunitense ha alzato i tassi d'interesse dello 0,25%, al livello più alto dal 2001. Il pil Usa del secondo trimestre è, intanto, cresciuto del 2,4%, battendo le attese del mercato e rafforzando lo scenario di un atterraggio morbido dell'economia a stelle e strisce.
