EU/ENG - The annual meeting of the international youth policy network, led by the Amsed Association, was held in Strasbourg at the Nord Sud cultural space over the weekend of March 20-22. Eight associations from France, Italy, Turkey, Spain, Egypt, Hungary, Cyprus, and Lithuania participated. The meeting's objectives were to exchange good educational practices, share project results, and plan future activities. Among the key educational resources presented by the Spanish partner was an online platform for the joint dissemination of Erasmus project results and products, based on open-source technologies, to capitalize on the European added value of funded projects. A specific session was dedicated to the dissemination of results and how to measure the impact of implemented activities. This aspect is becoming increasingly important in European project planning, especially in terms of quality and follow-up.

Another very interesting working session was dedicated to the use of new IT tools derived from the application of artificial intelligence in project management, a sector undergoing a veritable algorithm-driven revolution. Regarding participation in upcoming international seminars, Europolitiche will participate with its delegates in a seminar on youth democratic participation in Tunisia and two study seminars in Strasbourg to exchange best practices on the social inclusion of migrants and refugees in Europe. The final session focused on planning new joint projects for the coming year, which will see us as key players in issues such as the maritime economy, the fight against disinformation in democratic processes, and media literacy education. The overall outcome was therefore extremely positive for the network, despite considerable concern regarding the international prospects for future Mediterranean cooperation due to the latest geopolitical tensions in the area, and regarding the new multiannual budget, which includes inevitable cuts to culture, social cohesion, and the Erasmus program in favor of the new common defense policy.
